Ministry

Children mean the world to God. At the Early Church you will find Wednesday night Bible classes and a Sunday morning King's Kids ministry for your child that will help them discover the God who loves them, His story of love for mankind, and their place in that story. 

During the message in our Sunday morning worship service, we have a ministry called King's Kids. Children age 3 through 5th grade are invited to a special lesson just for them.

We believe that missions are central to the heart of God and the church, and are currently involved in multiple mission works in Mexico, a children's school in Guatemala, a mission couple in Maryland, and students in ministry training. We thank God for these people who live their lives in service to the Lord and His mission in the world.

Jesus called his disciples to share his love--not just in words, but in service to one another. You’ll find many areas in which you can serve others in our community, show compassion, and share moments of grace in the lives of others. Here is a small sampling of the ministries that are ongoing at the Early Church:

• Tuesday Sonshine School preschool
• Youth Ministry, Lake Cisco Christian Camp, and 5th Quarter
• Aid to families after house fires
• Food Pantry in partnership with Good Samaritan Ministries
• Pregnancy Care Center
• GriefShare Support Group
• Brown County Home Solutions (and homeless shelter)
• The Giving Tree - We provide gifts to children for families in need, and join the Pecan Valley Kiwanis club in providing groceries for the holidays. 
• Helping Hands - This is a women’s ministry that meets every month and takes on a special project for the community.
• Thanksgiving food baskets
• Quilting Ministry - On Thursday mornings you’ll find sisters gathered to quilt, enjoy friendship, and serving others. They meet at 9 am and have a potluck lunch each week.
• A Holiday fellowship at the CARE Center (Senior Living)
